The tourism promotion strategy of San Luis Potosí will incorporate new proposals from the business sector after a meeting between the Municipal Government and the 12 chambers that make up the Business Alliance.
The objective is to strengthen the destination’s strategy, expand its presence in national and international markets, and join efforts to attract more visitors, investments, and economic opportunities.
During the meeting, led by Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos, business representatives presented proposals that will be considered as part of the municipality’s tourism strategy.
In addition, the municipal government reaffirmed that it will maintain this collaboration space to incorporate the vision of the productive sector into the city’s projects.
San Luis Potosí Tourism Promotion Receives Proposals from 12 Business Chambers
The Municipal Tourism Director, Claudia Lorena Peralta Antiga, presented the actions promoted by the City Council to position San Luis Potosí in national and international markets.
The presentation led to an exchange of ideas with representatives from hotels, restaurants, businesses, developers, and service providers. The business chambers shared proposals to strengthen the promotion of the destination and expand the reach of the tourism strategy.
According to information from the municipal government, these contributions will be incorporated into the municipal plan with the goal of consolidating broader and more coordinated tourism promotion.
Seeking Tourism Growth to Boost the Local Economy
During the meeting, Enrique Galindo Ceballos stated that tourism growth requires the participation of the productive sector. He emphasized that the proposals presented will help strengthen a shared strategy.
The mayor added that the goal is for the increase in visitors to also generate greater economic activity, employment, and opportunities for businesses in San Luis Potosí.

The mayor reiterated that the City Council will continue maintaining this working relationship with the business sector. Through this collaboration, the municipality seeks to incorporate new proposals into tourism projects and strengthen the competitiveness of the capital of San Luis Potosí as a destination, with a strategy focused on generating economic development for local families.
