The Secretariat of Social and Regional Development has begun accepting applications for the housing program known as “Your Home, Your Support,” reported Rosario Martínez Galarza, head of the agency.
The state official explained that documents can be submitted at the offices located at Ignacio Aldama 330, downtown San Luis Potosí, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
She explained that Sedesore registers potential beneficiaries and then proceeds with completing the online application. She also noted that some of the requirements are: not owning real estate and not being able to access any type of public or private credit to purchase a home.
She also emphasized that 70 percent of the beneficiary registry will be women from San Luis Potosí who do not own a home or are dedicated to housework.
Likewise, the head of Sedesore warned that those interested have the remainder of April to register, “since most of the lots will be assigned in May.”
Finally, Martínez Galarza asked those interested not to be fooled by fake agents or “coyotes,” “since there are no intermediaries to fill out applications or submit documentation; the process must be completed individually by those interested in receiving this benefit.”
