Tangamanga I Park, the largest urban lung in the state of San Luis Potosí and an emblematic place for the people of San Luis Potosí, celebrates 41 years of being a space for recreation, culture and sports.

To celebrate this space, a series of cultural and recreational activities are planned, in addition to the Festival of Light, which will be the main attraction.

Ana Rosa Pineda Guel, general director of the Tangamanga I and II State Centers for Culture and Recreation (CECURT), announced that special celebrations will be held on the occasion of the 41st anniversary.

One of the most anticipated events is the Festival of Light in the three fountains of Tangamanga I Park, which will take place on September 7th starting at 7:00 p.m.

According to Ana Rosa Pineda, the Festival of Light promises to be a unique visual spectacle, with lights and colors that will beautify the fountains of Tangamanga Park, providing an unforgettable experience for attendees.

“It is an event designed for the whole family, where we seek not only to celebrate the park’s anniversary, but also to offer the Potosina community a space for coexistence and enjoyment,” commented Ana Rosa Pineda.

In this sense, the director of the Tangamanga parks stressed that the anniversary of Tangamanga Park I is on September 9 and that of Tangamanga Park II is on September 22.

What other activities will there be in Tangamanga Park for its anniversary?

Also to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Tangamanga Park I, a neon night ride will be held on September 7, in which people with bicycles, skates, skateboards and tricycles will be able to participate.

The night ride begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Tangamanga Park I Ecomuseum and will end at the same place, as well as at the end of the ride a kermesse will be held there and there will be a special musical participation where Roberto Amir “El charrito” will be present.
