Alejandra Díaz de León Soler from San Luis Potosí is the new Miss Mexico 2023

San Luis Potosí SLP.- Alejandra Díaz de León Soler from the state of San Luis Potosí, was crowned Miss Mexico 2023 on Saturday and will be the country’s representative in the Miss World 2023 pageant at the end of the year in the United Arab Emirates.

The top three were completed by Sofía Zamora Macías from Colima who will have the position of a substitute and Karla Rivas from Sinaloa as the second finalist. The beauty pageant was held at the Morelos Theater in Morelia.

Alejandra Díaz de León, from Potosi, is 22 years old and swept the catwalks, establishing herself as one of her favorites. She was part of the top 10 along with the representatives of Chiapas, Mexico City, Colima, Morelos, Sinaloa, Quintana Roo, Nayarit, Sinaloa, Tabasco, Quintana Roo and Yucatán.


Miss San Luis Potosí, Alejandra Díaz De León Soler, was crowned Miss Mexico 2023 (Miss World Mexico 2023) on Saturday, April 15 at Teatro Morelos in Morelia, Mexico.

The 22-year-old model and former Miss Globe holds a degree in language and literature. She succeeded Miss Mexico 2021 Karolina Vidales from Michoacán and will represent her country at Miss World 2023 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this year.

Sofía Zamora Macías of Colima was announced as the first runner-up while Karla Rivas of Sinaloa finished as the second runner-up. Emmy Puerto Arteaga of Yucatán and Mónica Carrillo of Nayarit were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were the representatives of Chiapas, Daniela Nucamendi, Ciudad de México, Miranda Huerta, Morelos, Grecia Miranda, Quintana Roo, Scarlett Leines, and Tabasco, Emmanuelle Guzmán Torre.

The new Miss Mexico founded the organization “Once Upon a Time” which promotes literature by promoting literacy workshops, as well as access to education and artistic recreation spaces for children in marginalized areas of the state.

Alejandra firmly believes a lot can be helped significantly from small actions. She said: “Everything fits quickly. Small is the child and encloses the man; Narrow is the brain and shelters the thought; The eye is not more than a point and spans leagues.”


The new queen of Miss Mexico has a degree in Spanish-American Language and Literature with a diploma in Classic and Contemporary Literature.
