Cactus Festival Returns to San Luis Potosí With Its Third Edition
Cactus and succulent enthusiasts will have an appointment with one of the most important specialized events dedicated to these species.
The “Jesús García Corona” Railway Museum will host the third edition of the Cactus Festival, a space designed to bring the public closer to the diversity, conservation, and cultivation of these plants.
During the festival, attendees will be able to find a wide selection of specimens for sale from producers coming from different states across the country, who will showcase various types of cacti and succulents, including some uncommon varieties aimed at both collectors and people who want to start this hobby.
In addition to the exhibition and sale of plants, the program includes specialized workshops where experts will share techniques for the cultivation, maintenance, and conservation of these species, as well as recommendations to encourage their growth in different environments.
The event also seeks to become a recreational alternative for families, so it will include free children’s activities aimed at introducing girls and boys to the knowledge and care of the flora characteristic of Mexico’s arid regions.
