The governor celebrated that with these improvements, “residents and visitors will have safer and more modern access between the Potosí and Maravillas Circuit and the Estanzuela–San Pedro Ojo Zarco road,” whose journey (he assured) now takes 30 minutes instead of an hour.

“With this new route, which boosts connectivity and improves the quality of life of thousands of families, we provide certainty and confidence to those who travel through these communities,” he emphasized.

This project covers a stretch of approximately 15 kilometers, which has been improved with hydraulic concrete paving, as well as sidewalks, curbs, signage, and painted pedestrian crossings.

The state governor stated that “this project benefits more than 30,000 residents, as it consolidates regional development and opens new possibilities for mobility, tourism, and commerce.”

Gallardo Cardona emphasized that his administration “promotes development with infrastructure and social programs that seek to strengthen people’s well-being and safety.”

Education and Social Development

In parallel with the delivery of the road, the governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo, delivered support from the “Education Without Limits” program for girls, boys, and young people in elementary education.

“The distribution of school supplies, notebooks, and shoes has also begun for the more than 500,000 students in the state’s four regions, to alleviate family finances and reduce school dropout rates,” he emphasized.

At a public event, the governor reiterated that San Luis Potosí is consolidating an education system and a strategic highway system that reduces travel times and provides better mobility conditions, “under the premise of advancing toward development with social justice and equity.”
