Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced the official opening of Esplendor by Wyndham San Luis Potosí Monarca, a property that fuses contemporary design with the rich culture of San Luis Potosí. Located in a former 1924 coffee roaster, this new hotel is the first Esplendor in the state and the second in all of Mexico.
The new hotel offers 62 fully equipped rooms, including six suites, as well as three meeting rooms for up to 60 people, a business center, an outdoor pool, a 24/7 fitness center, and a spa.
“We are very proud to celebrate the opening of Esplendor by Wyndham San Luis Potosí Monarca, a property that pays tribute to San Luis Potosí culture through design, hospitality, and details that create memorable experiences. This hotel represents the perfect fusion of traditional and modern,” shared Martha Torres, the hotel’s general manager.
For his part, Jesús Aguilar, Regional Director of Operations for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts LATAM, highlighted the strategic importance of the project: “The opening of Esplendor by Wyndham San Luis Potosí Monarca represents a new milestone for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Mexico. It is the brand’s first hotel in the state and the second nationwide, and we are confident it will offer travelers an authentic experience, with first-class service and a design that celebrates the local identity,” he stated.
Wyndham will also open a new luxury hotel located in Aldea Zamá, in the urban area of Tulum, with 63 exclusive rooms and high-end service. The Tryp by Wyndham Tulum will offer a fresh concept aimed at a youthful, European-oriented segment.
