A cooler with a pig’s head inside is left at the office of the candidate for governor of “Sí por San Luis Potosí”

The State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the discovery of the ice chest outside the governor’s candidate’s campaign house, located on Himalaya Avenue in the Cumbres neighborhood of the state capital, for which he initiated an investigation folder and sent personnel from the instance.

SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, SLP, (May 27, 2021) .- An ice chest with a pig’s head inside and a message with threats were left outside the campaign house of the candidate for governor of the “Yes for San Luis Potosí” coalition, the PAN member Octavio Pedroza Gaitán.

The candidate made this known on his social networks shortly before 11:00 in the morning on May 27tj.

Later, the candidate of the coalition formed by PAN, PRI, PRD, and Conciencia Popular added: “We know that many Potosinos have been victims of this type of activity, in my government, these acts are going to end. Citizens are not alone, there are many more of us who want peace for San Luis Potosí ”.

A little later, the State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the discovery of the ice chest outside the campaign house of the candidate for governor, located on Himalaya Avenue in the Cumbres neighborhood of the state capital, for which he initiated a folder of investigation and sent to personnel of the instance.

Around the cooler a paper with a message threatening the candidate was pasted, although its content was not specified.

The cooler and what was inside were taken to the Scientific Vice Prosecutor’s Office “to continue with the analyzes,” it was reported, while the investigation was in charge of the Investigative Police.

In a statement, the candidate Octavio Pedroza himself described the finding as a type of intimidation to the political project that he heads and called on the public not to be scared and go out and cast their vote.
